Using the stock boost solenoid, TT chip and rod, I have the boost set at 20psi. I understand with this setup, the rod is the final boost setting. With a manual boost controller (non bleed off style) will the rod setting be the final boost setting or will the manual boost controller over ride the rod setting? I'm trying out a Grimmspeed mbc. I found the TurboXS manual for it but its still not very clear cut instructions with the course adjustment and fine adjustment. From what i read if i don't have it set right, it can cause extra boost lag. Some people talk about shaking the BC and adjust it till you no longer hear it rattle inside. I dont know, Just a little confused about it.
